What happens when a case has multiple bank accounts (and/or credit card accounts) and you need to follow the “money trail”? Do you get a bunch of people in a room, spread the statements across the conference table and do an “eyeball search”? Does this take days?
What if these statements are in Excel and you simply click “Merge Accounts”? You can combine an unlimited number of accounts. The transactions are sorted in date order so you can easily follow transactions in and out of accounts.
Merged Bank Accounts
Notice there are three accounts with all transactions in chronological order.
But wait! This gets easier. Watch for my next post about Transaction Matching.
